Vintage Rose and Blossoms Cake with Lace
This cake is based on beautiful muted soft tones of dusky pink and neutrals and the classic rose.
Dusky pink sugar roses and a selection of blossoms in shades of pink and brown top the cake and form a band around the middle, carefully placed between the second and third tiers.
A chocolate brown satin ribbon is overlaid with lace to soften the colour on the second and bottom tiers - the top and third tiers are simply trimmed with ivory satin ribbon.
This pretty floral cake would be perfect for a spring or summer wedding but could also be easily adapted to suit other seasons by changing the flowers and colours.
Diamante Lily Cake
A two tier cake with a clear acrylic separator, this simple, uncluttered cake is given a little sparkle with a diamante trim around the base of each cake and a sugar lily with diamante centre.
Perfect for smaller weddings, the two cakes as shown will serve approximately 50 portions.
Additional tiers could be added if required to increase the servings.
A stylish cake in pure white, or you could incorporate a hint of your colour scheme or flowers in the lily.

Lace and Diamante Cake with Ruffles
Inspiration for a cake can come from many sources but for this one I wanted to create a cake which echoed the beautiful wedding dresses on the catwalks at the moment - detailed lace with diamante and ruffles.
The result is a tall and elegant five tier stacked cake with alternating tiers of lustred hand-piped lace and a plain, smooth finish with satin ribbon, the addition of ruffles on the bottom tier completes this elegant design.
A diamante brooch holding gathered satin ribbon mimics the waist area of the dress and this simple detail coordinates beautifully with the intricate work of the tiers above and below.
One of the advantages of this cake design is its versatility - it would work equally well in a scaled-down version with three or four tiers for smaller weddings and could even have an additional bottom tier for larger celebrations if necessary.
Bow and Blossoms Cake
Guest numbers at weddings can vary from a few to several hundred, with many standard-sized three tier cakes serving 100 - 200 small portions. I wanted to create a smaller three tier cake which didn't compromise on stylish design, taste or quality by using exactly the same ingredients as in the larger cakes.
Using cakes of 4", 6" and 8" and keeping the decoration pretty but uncluttered I have been able to produce a three tier cake suitable for smaller, more intimate weddings where guest numbers or budget may make a larger cake inappropriate. This cake will provide approximately 80 small 1" x 1" portions for serving with coffee at a cost of £250.00.
The cake is shown here in black and white but would be equally effective in another colour, which is available at no extra cost so long as the style of decoration remains exactly the same. Additional tiers or changes to the design can be accommodated, I would be happy to calculate a cost for this if required.
